Hi everyone, it's been a while since I posted on here. I've moved to University this week and I'm so excited! I moved in on Wednesday and I'm in a flat with four other girls. Three of the girls have really similar sounding names and I just know that it's going to become confusing!
One of the girls are really nice and we've just found out that we both like watching YouTubers and it's amazing! I actually have someone I can talk to about what's happening in the youtube land haha. We can both get emotional together when the Sacconejolys have their baby!!! I'm sorry but can we just take a second to appreciate how beautiful Anna is, she needs to start believing that she is and all the haters need to back off her. She is an amazing woman who is beautifully raising two (almost three) children into loving, caring and extremely intelligent human beings! I'm sorry I've gone off on a bit of a tangent, I just thought Anna needed a bit of praise.
Another one of the girls is really small and shy, I rarely even see her but she seems nice. I'd love to get to know her more and try and get her to come out of her shell a bit as I feel like she'll have a much better time if she does. Hopefully, we can get her to come into the shared kitchen and have us all socialise together and get to know one another a lot more! That's something only the future can tell us...
The third girl is extremely loud! She seems like an alright person but when she speaks its like she's trying to speak to me from a different room. She likes to go out drinking and partying and that's not really me, so late at night I always hear her come back in the early hours and can hear the doors banging. Oh and I almost forgot, she broke the oven. Yes, that's right, she's pulled the oven door off from the oven. Like its actually hanging off! Maintenance should be coming and fixing it but they haven't been yet and the other girls in the flat (including me), keep wanting to use the oven, but we obviously can't. Other than that, she seems alright. She also has a twin, I almost forgot about that as well. She keeps coming up and when they're in the kitchen together I seriously can't tell them apart haha! Wish me luck!!
And last but not least, there is the other girl. Now, she seems okay, I've spoken to her a few times but other than that, she rarely comes out of her room! I don't think I've spoken to her enough yet to say that I know her. So I'll get to know her some more and get back to you.
But yeah, overall, I'm happy with my flatmates and I think if we all got to now each other more then we could become really good friends!? I really do hope so, I'm looking forward to this year and what it has to offer. My aims for this year is to become a more confident person and make some amazing memories and friends along the way.
I meet my course mates tomorrow for the first time so I'm slightly nervous for that, hopefully, I make a friend in there and have someone to talk to! I'll get back to you all tomorrow about how it's gone, wish me luck and I'll update you guys soon!
